Scottish musician corto.alto will take the stage at Matosinhos em Jazz on July 12 at 6 PM, at the Jardim Basílio Teles. Known for his innovative approach to jazz, he has gained international recognition with performances at festivals such as SXSW, Glastonbury, and the North Sea Jazz Festival. Liam Shortall is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, keyboard, trombone, percussion, and tuba, skills that shine through in his latest work, Bad With Names, which was nominated for the 2024 Mercury Prize. 

Renowned for its creativity and uniqueness, his take on modern jazz has earned recognition in both live shows and studio productions.
