Máximo Trio

Máximo is a Portuguese composer, pianist, and producer who has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices of the new generation of musicians. A graduate of the National Conservatory’s School of Music, where he completed secondary studies in Piano and Composition, and holding a degree in Jazz Composition from Codarts University of the Arts in the Netherlands, he has developed an artistic language that blends influences from classical, jazz, electronic, and contemporary music.

Recognized for his creative approach and ability to fuse distinct sonic universes, Máximo has built a career marked by interdisciplinary collaboration and the search for new contexts of creation and performance. In recent years, he has released the albums “Greatest Hits,” “Residência,” and “PANGEA,” exploring territories ranging from singer-songwriter music to trap and electronic music, without ever abandoning the sophistication of his musical writing.

Alongside his recording career, he has composed film soundtracks, written the official theme for ModaLisboa, and performed in settings as diverse as art galleries, contemporary dance projects, and poetry events, including “Obscuro Domínio,” broadcast on RTP2. In 2025, the track “PANGEA” was chosen as the official song for the Portuguese Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, an event where he also performed, consolidating his international profile and confirming him as one of the most promising creators in contemporary Portuguese music.
