Moses Yoofee Trio

Berlin-based pianist, composer, and producer Moses Yoofee will make his debut at Matosinhos em Jazz on July 11 at 6 p.m. at the Coreto do Jardim Basílio Teles. Hailed as one of the most exciting names in the new generation of European jazz, the artist presents his signature neo-jazz, blending jazz tradition with influences from hip-hop, electronic music, and contemporary improvisation in an energetic and unpredictable style. Following the release of their debut album “MYT” in 2025, which was widely praised by international critics, the trio has gained increasing prominence across Europe thanks to their intense and explosive concerts. Accompanied by drummer Noah Fuerbringer and bassist and guitarist Roman Klobe, Moses Yoofee has established himself as one of the most innovative acts on the current scene, earning accolades from leading institutions such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, which highlighted the trio as a project “shaping the future of jazz that defies genres.”
